Hello,

Toro Olusegun, CEO of The Wholeness Consultancy. I am a Certified Integrative Trauma Informed Coach, Therapist and Integrative Counsellor on a mission to orchestrate holistic care approaches tailored to each individual's need for a positive emotional and mental health, fostering resilience and facilitating recovery from trauma.

T
rauma is a wounding; a psychic wound that lives an imprint in the nervous system, the body, the psychic and then shows up in multiple ways that are not helpful to you in a number of ways.

I started my healing journey 8 years ago, after life delved my share of curved ball, leading to a marital breakdown, and finding myself in the trows of trauma. Trauma is real, and one fact remain, unresolved trauma does not go away and has the potential to breakdown a person's sense of being and quality of life!

The Wholeness consultancy was birth from my personal trauma recovery and journey to wholeness. As a Christian, my approach to trauma care is holistic, because I believe that man is a tripartite being; a spirit, with a soul and living in a body. I work within the physical, soulish and spiritual dimension, with both people of faith and those with no faith.

As an Independent Social Worker in the Child Protection and Safeguarding Arena, I have several years of experience, working with children, young people and families to improve outcomes for them. This led me to pursuing a keen interest in Therapeutic Life Story Work, an approach designed to enable traumatised children to explore, question and understand the past events of their lives. I work with Local Authorities, as a Certified Therapeutic Life Story Work Practitioner, using the Richard Rose model, pioneer of Therapeutic Life Story Work, whose work is world renowned.

I am also the visisoner of The Whole Woman Outreach, empowering single mum's in the community and promoting resilience and positive mental health and emotional wellbeing, so that they can raise resilient children.
